My original thoughts on the topic the dangers of exotic pets to their owners and also their neighbors were
"well i guess if the person is quite knowledgeable " but after reading the article The dangers of keeping Exotic
"pets" on the website http://www.bornfreeusa.org i realized there is a lot more to that than just haven a cool
animal in your possession you are endangering them your selves and others around you . The article touches on
so many factors that really opened my eyes to the seriousness of keeping an exotic pet. An action that out of
lack of knowledge previously I supported and thought was kind of cool.
But now my stance is different according to "The Dangers of Keeping Exotic "Pets" exotic animals pose a
serious risks to humans. many exotic animals are carries of zoonotic diseases such as Herpes B, MonkeyPox
and Salmonella's, all of which are communicable to humans. (3). The public risk factor was also a significant
fact alone with the supporting detail according to CDC 52 people reported being bitten by macaque monkeys
(2).
It seems at tad bit selfish to keep these animals they have to live under your rules when they are born to be
wild not born to be domesticated. What if someone domesticated you bas an human being you know what
we call that enslavement and guess what its illegal. So what gives us a right to take these beautiful exotic
animals out of there normal environment where they behave instinctively and make ourselves there owners .
And then use corporal punishment when they attack bite lunge or challenge our sense of control when that is
what they are born to do not live under us and out stipulations of what they must be , we must stop this
travesty .

Respnse to the assigned reading chapter one -argument :an introduction and chapter two - arguement as inquiry : reading and exploring
In the chapters one and two from "Writing Arguments" chapter one writers purpose was to explain argument to the reader as stated in the conclusion section of Writing Arguments "In this chapter we have explored some of the complexities of argument" (23). And in chapter two conclusion of "Writing Arguments" showed ways to plunged deeper into the comprehension of what you are reading according to Writing Arguments, this chapter focused on inquiry as a way to enrich your reading and writing of arguments. The genre of the piece is to really explain to the reader the audience which is student or instructor that argument is both truth seeking and persuasive (Writing Arguments 23). The writers perspective is to have a solid stand point in argument don't waiver or argue any side of an issue (23).
One could disagree with the writer perspective if they studied the sophist theory where arguing any side of an issue on behalf of gaining support of any individual group willing to pay for your support and or services (15).The authors use of images ; graphics, and other visuals helped the audience better engage in an opinion themselves and the author then presented various articles explaining ways to argue the image and ways to successfully be persuasive to the audience by stating truth seeking facts in chapter one and ways to brainstorm free write and place text in rhetorical context. This was my first time even seeing the word rhetorical let alone understanding its context in regards to the text. But the writer broke down how access any text determine if the text is explicit or imlpict , to see if the writer included strong fact toward the argument did the writer in the articles included in the text use persuasion and did i find them effective. When i saw the visuals did the reader pull on emotion fact or general opinion , where my feeling similar to the writer if not how did the writer do in defending their stand against opposing views.
Chapter two of Writing Arguments helped me sharpen my one critiquing skills by challenging the reader to take summarize my own idea and figure out where my strongest views about the text where and explain through my ideas and response. Reading the two chapter allowed me to explore different was to asses a text agree or disagree and support my stance with truth seeking supporting details and how to grab my audience using persuasion.
